Phase 1 : MARK THE FOLDS OF THE SHAPE
The geometrical quality of the shape depends on the quality of folds marking. This phase is also called grooving or rebating.

 The element 5 of the tangram printed and ready for grooving. Every dotted line indicates the place of a fold. A fold is prolonged by two pointing lines. Fold lines have various colours to facilitate the location of the pointing lines.

 With your pen, point a pointing line at the end of a fold to position the ruler. Fit the ruler on the point.
|
 Point the pointing line at the other extremity of the fold to position the ruler. Take care to avoid move of the other extremity of the ruler. At the beginning, you will have to begin again several times the stages 2 and 3 to position well the ruler...

 Mark dotted lines inside the shape, without forcing too much.
 Repeat the stages 2 to 4 for all the dotted lines.
