 When you choose a color palette, shape faces are not selected.

 Click on a face of the shape to select it. The shape face is bordered of green.
|
 In the color palette, you can click on the color you want to apply, move red, green or bleu cursor or move the transparency cursor.
|

|
 When you click on the color palette or move a cursor, the selected face is updated.
|
 Click on the button  to save your modifications.
|
If you don't validate yours choices before to change palette or tool, you lost your modifications.

The opposite image shows the color applied once you have validate it.

The opposite image shows transparency modification of a texture. Original texture is on the left, modified texture is on the right.
